General Description:

The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for providing mid-level GIS and cartographic project support by developing spatial databases, performing spatial data conversion, conducting spatial image analyses, integrating GIS data/databases and miscellaneous cleanup of data and producing high quality digital and hard-copy maps. Also, candidate will report on project status regularly to a project manager.

Work experience requirements:

• Minimum of two years of hands-on GIS experience preferably with addressing and/or road centerline development
• Good operational knowledge of ESRI tools and a comfort level with database concepts
• Experience with ArcGIS 9.x, ArcGIS 8.x and/or other GIS or CAD mapping systems

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography/GIS or related area
